Adel Ghabboun is a software engineer with 20+ years of hands-on experience in the US technology industry. Over two decades, he has built, shipped, and scaled software across companies and teams of every size, gaining deep expertise not just in writing code, but in how real engineering teams operate, collaborate, and deliver.
Having witnessed firsthand the gap between engineers trained in classrooms and those shaped by real work environments, Adel returned to Jordan with a clear mission: build the program he wished had existed when he was starting out.
GITRDY is that program. It's not a school. It's not a bootcamp. It's a simulated software company, where participants experience the full engineering lifecycle, from analysis and design through building, testing, and deployment, working exactly the way professional teams do every day. Adel leads the program alongside a team of senior engineers, mentoring participants, reviewing code, and guiding career coaching sessions, bringing the standards, habits, and mentality of US industry directly into the room.
His goal is not just to train developers. It's to transform how software engineers are built in Jordan and across the Arab world.

Why GITRDY Exists
Every year, thousands of talented tech graduates and aspiring engineers enter the job market in Jordan and across the Arab world. They've studied computer science, software engineering, and related fields. But the gap between university education and what employers actually need remains enormous.
Employers don't hire based on transcripts. They hire based on what you can do. They want engineers who can take a feature from analysis and design through building, testing, and deployment, write clean code, collaborate in Agile teams, navigate a real codebase, and deliver under real-world constraints.
GITRDY was founded to bridge that gap. By placing participants inside a simulated software company, we give them the one thing that no lecture or certificate can provide: real experience.
